Hi, I am trying to build something like your touch screen DIY unit

question? what did you use for the TFT screen? is it a LCD screen taken from a laptop or you disassembled a tft VGA monitor?

I just disassembled an regular 15" tft monitor.
A LCD screen taken from a laptop will be a problem because of lacking standard connectors.

I am using an old (not too much) laptop for it, I am disassemblibng and putting everyting in a box...
